What membership types are available?

Any company that collects secondhand clothing and shoes, purchases credential clothing or provides goods and services to the industry, may be eligible to become a member of the association. Provided that it meets the standards for certification and or membership as set forth by ACBO and pays the membership fee.

Who can be a member?

NO, ABCO is a proud social organization with a strong philanthropic and environmental foundation. ACBO is an independent third party that provides an in-depth vetting and certification process that separates its members from the nefarious ones while providing people with a meaningful, trustworthy, and convenient way to discard their unwanted clothes and shoes and do so in a respectful and productive way.

Is ABCO a nonprofit?

The Association of Certified Bin Operators, LLC, officially launches both its association website and its public FindaBin.com zip code web-locator to the public in September 2022. It has taken nearly 2 years of due diligence, discovery, and industry focus groups, to create an association specifically for the betterment secondhand collection industry and those who donate.

When was the ACBO formed?

The Association of Certified Bin Operators (ACBO) is the official certification platform for the textile/second-hand clothing collections industry. Serving the entire United States and Canada, ACBO officially certifies and promotes both private sector and nonprofit organizations in the clothing collections industry.
